The issue of mostly older men sitting under a tree all day and all night should be placed in the lap of the county
(the persons that constitute the laws for parks and recreation).
I remember being a little girl going to the park watching older people playing shuffle board. Even though that is a "far cry less fun than drinking", some might think, it just appears to me that black people of age do not have choices that permit them to engage in productive or skillful activities that are conducive to a better lifestyle.
“All day and all night the angels are watching over them, my Lord.”
At least that’s my prayer until we, as a whole body of people change.
Kind of like the way the Haitins did when they implemented the domino sections at parks in their neighborhood.

The Free Trade Summit of the Americas was held here in Miami and was Miami Police Department ever so ready...
Officers were decked out in full riot gear, expecting an uproar in civil disobedience.
Thousands of middle to upper class citizens ensembled in the streets of downtown Miami
to protest the Free Trade concept endorsed by President Bush.
People, white people, virtually got their ass beat down, pepper sprayed, strip searched
and jailed by Miami Police, however, everyone was warned multiple times to disassemble
and not to cross police lines.
But several police warnings didn't cause the massive crowd to disperse...and then it happened.
Billy clubs, tear gas, dogs and the serious beat down.
I mean, these people got the business from the Miami Police Department.
They were shocked, and they were surprised, and they went to jail.
Never in the history of the City of Miami so many white upper class business people went to jail, under the charge of disturbing the peace, resisting arrest with violence and civil disobedience.
Only in America, or should I say, only in Miami...
Where the City of Miami Police doesn't care what color a violator is. You break the law and refuse to comply with a lawful order, YOU'RE GOING DOWN...
